One of the types of objects in Praat. An IntensityTier object represents a time-stamped intensity contour, i.e., it contains a series of (time, intensity) points. The intensity values are in dB.

Creation:

- Copy from another object:
- • Intensity: To IntensityTier: trivial copying of linearly spaced points.
- • Intensity & PointProcess: To IntensityTier...: copying interpolated values at specified points.
- • PointProcess: Up to IntensityTier...: equal values at specified points.
Viewing and editing:

Conversion:
- • IntensityTier: Down to PointProcess: copy times.
