D2Coding is a monospaced typeface designed for developers, published by NAVER Corporation under the SIL Open Font License. It is based on Nanum Barun Gothic, and its Latin letters, digits and symbols were reworked so that characters that are easy to confuse while reading code — such as the digit zero and the capital letter O, or the digit one, the lowercase letter l and the vertical bar — stay clearly distinguishable. Hinting was tuned for the 8–18pt range that most code editors and terminals use.

Unlike most coding typefaces, D2Coding was drawn so that Hangul and Latin work together in a monospaced grid: a Hangul syllable occupies exactly the width of two Latin characters, so comments, string literals and identifiers written in Korean keep source code, tables and box-drawing output aligned. The family covers Hangul, Latin and 332 extended characters, as well as 31 control pictures. Han characters (Hanja) are not included and fall back to another font.

The family ships in Regular and Bold weights. A separate ligature build adds programming ligatures for common operator sequences such as =>, != and <=; it is identical to the standard build apart from the OpenType contextual alternates code.
